This quote is the nucleus of what today is Stella Mundi Franciscan Ministries. St. Francis throughout his ministry did all he could to emulate the life of Christ. He followed the Gospels intently and lovingly for Christ. To be, to live as He did in word and deed. Along the way, he gained “brothers and sisters”, followers. I consider myself one of them. A Secular Franciscan for 12 years, I too strive to live the gospels by my life. Although not always successfully, the journey has had its bumps and bruises. I wear my scars proudly. It is my daily reminder that I need God in my life. I too need brothers and sisters as companions  who will walk that road with me. For we strive at the end of our journey to go home to God.

I pray that this weekly blog and the services Stella Mundi provides will help those who are looking for a fellow traveler who wants to spread love and great news to others. I hope to inspire, to share, to reflect my love of God through the charism of St. Francis.
