Season of Renewal

"Trust the past to the mercy of God, the present to His love, and the future His providence.”

St. Augustine

Did you ever find yourself in situations where you wish you could press the reset button? A do over? Admittedly,

I have many times. Lent gives us the opportunity to check in with Christ. To walk the road with him to Calvary.

Where have I fallen short? How can I be a better disciple of Christ? We are called to walk in faith doing

the will of the Father by submitting ourselves to His will. Saying yes to God daily by our words and actions.

Trusting in His mercy and love that as we look ahead of what's to come, He will light the way. He knows our strengths and weaknesses.

Give it all to Him . We were chosen to bear fruit. May this Lenten season bring you pure joy, clarity and a grateful heart knowing God's unwavering love for you.

Blessed lent!

The Fast Life

Fast from judging others;

Feast on Christ dwelling in them.

Fast from fear of illness;

Feast on the healing power of God.

Fast from words that pollute;

Feast on speech that purifies.

Fast from discontent;

Feast on gratitude.

Fast from anger;

Feast on patience.

Fast from pessimism;

Feast on hope.

Fast from negatives;

Feast on encouragement.

Fast from bitterness;

Feast on forgiveness.

Fast from self-concern;

Feast on compassion.

Fast from suspicion;

Feast on truth.

Fast from gossip;

Feast on purposeful silence.

Fast from problems that overwhelm;

Feast on prayer that sustains.

Fast from anxiety;

Feast on faith.
